I have always been using a normal hose for changing water and slowly try to cover the base and walls to suck out the poo and stuff with just the small circumference of the hose. Is there any solution to that to fasten the process? I am looking for a vacuum head type that can brush and suck water with a longer diameter so makes things much faster? I have a 5ft tank and it's very tiring to slowly try and cover the whole base alone to clear all the debris. I have seen Ivan Sumo use similiar thing to change water but not sure where to find the equipment to DIY the head out.
Any suggestions?
You can just buy a siphon set with a wider head attachment and link it to your normal hose. Can easily find such siphon sets at most LFS. The larger attachment you require should be available at C328. I saw one from this brand Marina, with a flat but wide head attachment. Might be the solution you were looking for.

Hi actually I'm looking for more like those flat heads that we vacuum floor with. Real wide and flat that rolls on the floor.
Well that kind of attachment might be impossible to find. The Marina product is the only one I can think of. You can probably DIY one with PVC pipes and trunking. A super broad head is impractical for aquarium use, especially with a planted tank.

I'm using it for goldfish tank. yeah probably need to DIY the head myself. any idea where to find vacuum heads for sale other than buying the whole vacuum? lol
you can try use pvc pipes if cannot find vacuum head.

Try the vacuum machine suppliers? They ought to have some replacement heads which you can for your needs.
DIY with PVC pipes is the best, if you have the proper tools.

Today I bought this battery operated vacuum cleaner. You may want to try it? The debris is collected into a bag and the water is recycle. I found it useful especially during water change. We only replace 30% water while many debris still remain, so the vacuum cleaner is very helpful
