Is it normal for HC to pearl like crazy after trimming? Pardon the lousy quality of the video, it looks as if I have air stones all around the tank...

Should be normal as my glosso and rotala pearl a lot after trimming. If you look closely, the pearls actually escapes from the part that is cut off.

another alternative which i happened to stumbled upon, is at GC, 1 of the leaf of a stem plant has a hole in it. while i was looking randomly at the tank and relaxing at the couch, i happen to see that particular leaf (with hole) bubbling away, slowly but steadily. THAT, made me feel like poking a hole in all my plants to see insane pearling as i've never ever seen my plants pearl before (hopefully next setup can see it, changed to strong light and blasting CO2 WITH very densely planted mini glosso next week.

@Felix....Vallis as in Vallisneria?....if leaf blade is cut, the leaf will disintegrate overtime and usually quite fast.....
