Hi bros,
Just started this hobby, about 3 months into it. Initial 3.5ft tank setup ok. Fishes are growing and active.
Plan to setup 3ft planted dedicated to rainbow fishes different varieties.
Can anyone tell me where I can find the varieties? Been trying the last weekend but only found limited. Please recommend some lfs.
If anyone has experiences in rearing rainbow fishes, please share. Btw how many of these fishes can I have in the new 3ft tank.
Any suggestions/comments are welcome.
Thanks,
Paul Low.

Hi all,
Apologised for the so call sms lingo. Just try to be polite.
Anyway, thank you ForzenDuck for your guideline on the number of livestock for a 3ft tank.
Hi zerofighterx101, thanks for your warm welcome. Look forward to your guidance and learning from you.
Can anyone share experiences on my queries.
Thanks in advance,
Paul Low
It is better to stick with the 1cm of fish to 3 liters of water especially during the run in period. This is but a guideline. There are other factors like area per fish if they happened to be cichlids and are territorial by nature.
It also is dependent how hardworking you are in water change as well as the size of filter and/or running double filter....all this plays a part but if you want a hassle free, little algae issues,.....stick with the guidelines.
