this usuallu happens when you put a nana in emersed form in the water. Nana grows well, even in the dimmest of light, do not worry. Direct light will do more harm.

Need some experts advice on cause of yellowing leaf tips on my Nana.
Tank is situated away from direct light. I figured its becos of not enuf light or something so I'm leaving a single bulb ON in the day for it. Power saving type... 23W (equiv 120W) bulb.
What else am I doing wrong?

Thanks for the reply bro...
So is the yellowing of leaves any indication it is dieing? Or its just a change of leaf color thats all?

the leave will fall off and the rhziome may rot a bit. But give it some time, it will recover.

So meaning bit by bit all the leaves will start to turn yellow and die? Then its just a matter of time before the whole Nana plant is gone?

Only those leaves that are damaged or cannot adapt to your new environment will die off.
Once it got used to your tank, they will grow quite fast with leaves appearing every week.
Don't worry. Maybe you want to observe and keep us update if your other green and healthy leaves are affected by the yellowing effect.
