For the dry ferts, I will continue to use them. The liquid ones, test first.
Hi guys,
I have been in aqua planting for more than 10 years. Didn't realized that some of Dr Mallicks ferts bought 10 years agowere still in my storeroom.
Just some questions on the ferts. Both lush gro aqua and micros are liquid form of feet and the color is different from when I bought it. The dry ferts still look the same, white crystallize salt.
1) would it be harmful for fish/ plants if dosing the lush gro aqua/ micros?
2) would the nutrients content be reduced? Or ineffective?
Thanks
Brandon

I am balding but i am still young!
If you're unsure, best not to use it incase it harms the livestock. The lushgro liquid ferts are not expensive and not worth upsetting the balance you have in the aquarium:

Ok thanks bros.
Liquid aqua and micros in the bin now.
Will get new liquid ferts from Nature

i may be wrong - unless it's organic based it's unlikely that they will degraded much with the exception of iron based ferts which may *possibly* get oxidised/rendered useless for plants absorbtion
Wow....you still have KNO3....![]()

Mine which was bought 7-9 years ago is still around. Its the first batch released and there's still lots remaining (Crystal & liquid)
No effect of life stocks, plant still grow well and over dosing still give me algae boom.
I'd like some of that KNO3 as well! My stocks are running low...
My new high light planted set up drinks ferts like mad.
Dosing 1 tablespoon dry ferts every alternate day, and trace/iron the other days. Think I'm going to keep the KNO3 bottle as souvenir soon...
CO2 running faster beyond what my eyes can count too!
