    Re: My First...

I tried that before but failed. So i move to my office with 24/7 air-con 25C. Later found that it need Excel Carbon as CO2 at least.
So I think if you plant at home, it will be better if you install a small cooling fan, dose with excel carbon. Fertilizer can wait until your plants grow more n more.
    Good luck and enjoy :-)

As suggested by Max, I think you would at least need Excel as a source of carbon. Eventually, you will need to dose fertilisers too. What kind of LEDs are you using by the way?

NO!.....plants need nutrients and CO2 to grow....lights is the catalyst that triggers photosynthesis....I cannot put you in cage with no water and food and expect you to live?.....

What LED light your using, most important factor. Then follow by plant's requirement, looks like the light green plant is MM. Grow fast but does not spread& would need trimming/replant to grow.

ADA aquasoil has some nutrient quality but only root based plants will benefit more, but anyway don't last forever thou it might last a good few months (IF and ONLY given enough light).

P.S, what happened to the moss in the background? Like very sad looking

oh the same you mention in anothet thread? so so only, don't expect too much since wattage is quite low and not many folks seems to have used it before in a planted.

moss you bought that color? seems like they got excel nuked. i normally won't buy moss in that state.

    That's good news fronds growing

It's quite a common sight to see our 1st lighting equipment to be ill powered. Same thing happened to me 4 years ago, Take your time to research what to buy and do some window shopping. That helps greatly.

Can't agree more! Changed my lights from single tube to double tube to four tubes then to high outputs and leds.
