yeah would like to find out as well!
Hi, i have always been curious how did aquatic plant displays have such nice shapes in the plant bush.
can someone shed light on the techniques from planting it into the soil (stalk by stalk, or whole bunch into the soil) as well as the trimming.
thanks
an example of the bush would be like this.

easy, plant plenty of them from the start and trimming
You need to let the MM grow long and bushy first.
When it is time to trim them, trim it to look like a round or oval shape and let them recover.

MM is a weed - grows literally like weed.

just trim and replant if you dont have alot to start. mm grow very fast.

ic.. inside is botak because it doesnt get any light? or is it because of the replanting?
another question is if the MM is tall, can i trim off and replant the top for multiplying effect?
thanks

Hi,
Is this MM plant also referred to as baby tears or Micranthemum umbrosum?
I think it is Micranthemum Micranthemoides.....as in the abbreviation M.M.![]()
