i joined this forum at the beginning of the year but i havent made a post yet. i've just been looking around at people's tanks and the sale section

Im from the USA, and i've had tanks for many years. ive been keeping shrimp for about 5 years now, and gathering various plants from all around.

i found this forum when i was looking for weeping moss. i've been looking for real weeping moss, the kind that droops down, for years! i've seen lots for sale all around, but i've never found true weeping moss

i have a friend in SG and i was hoping she could somehow get me moss somehow and ship it to me. that would be cool.

Welcome to AQ. Is your friend into planted tanks? If not, you might need to get someone here to help you get the moss and pass it to her to mail it to you.

no, she doesnt have a fish tank. i told her to start one but she doesnt like the color "green"

if i ever see something on the market, i was gonna tell her to help me pick it up and ship it here. i told her to go to fish stores and help me look. she went to one but they said they didnt have any. its interesting to see the kinds of plants offered, this forum is like a whole new environment for me.

Plenty of other colours like red, bronze, brown... or if she likes black, can try for a black brush algae tank. The latter isn't very hard. :-p

Poke around the Marketplace forums and see if anyone is offering any free or for sale. If not, participate in the forum and soon you'll be able to post a Want ad in the Marketplace forums.

i did mention getting a tank full of red plants, but she countered with ... no space for a tank. i cant argue with that!

i dont know SG geography at all, so on posting's locations, i'll ask her.. are you near here? or here? how about here?

We're tiny. Just ask her which town or area she's in. And also where she's working or studying. Actually, post it here. We can tell you if there is a shop near her that might have the moss.
