    Hi,

Would like to get feedback on the plants that would be good for a 1 feet tank. I have a 9W PL light. DIY CO2 using Nutrafin canister. Thinking of rescaping my tank.

I currently have taiwan moss, hottonia inflate, hygrophylia corymbosa. 3 rummy noses, 6 cardinals, malayan, bee shrimps....

Any suggestions on the plants that I could look at?

    Many thanks!

A small tank should use plants with small leaves. This will make your tank look bigger.

i will suggest MM or MU.

These two have small leaves and look very nice.

    Hi,

a small tank would be better if you have not too much variety of plants. I would suggest you go for a all-crypt tank.

    Cheers

Just cleared my 1 feet tank and my fish are in a basin for the time being.

Thanks Vincent for the crypt recommendation.

Any other suggestions for a 1 ft tank

ludwigia acurata as backing with MM, rocks and dark gravel could give you a small striking tank.

Slope the gravel a little and use the moss as the entire ground cover, a bare branchy wood with java ferns tied on small wood, stuff in between could create another nice picture. Perhaps some hairgrass loosely and sparingly planted at the both side will give a touch of wilderness and more natural looking.
