    Guys,

I am using an ANS glass diffuser for my co2, however, noticed that the bubbles is only coming out from one end of the plate. Why is that so?

That is normal... so long as the bubbles are small in size, it should be okay.

    Re: Glass diffuser

i have tried using DAZ brand. Co2 gas escaped through the joint where the ceramic diffuser meets glass in small bubbles. I have not tried ANS diffusers so i maybe wrong to say so. But in my opinion, these brands are the low end brands therefore the made is not that good. I have tried NAG aqua music from green chapter, the price difference is not much but the results are much better. (they have a online store so you can check it out.) CO2 comes out in fine mist, in the long run, taking into account the efficiency achieved since you are already using pressurized CO2, u might wish to consider the switch.

Like mikisol mentioned, it still works thou.

I am using up ceramic diffuser. Cheap and effective. The bubbles are very fine and has served my tank well.

    Re: Glass diffuser

May i ask how big is your tank and are you looking to make your plants pearling?
I tried before and the plants grow well, but pearling a little bit. I guess the CO2 did not dissolve well into the water. So I change method, use reactor.. the plants can pearling very well.

I have not used CO2 reactor. Sounds like the CO2 reactor is more efficient than CO2 diffuser.

glass diffuser will come out at the weakest point of the ceramic. Used before the unit Hann is using and still keeping it, best value item.

Are you thinking of Mist? I only managed to mist with the newly bought (and broken due to over tightening lid) Inline.

Up Aqua Super inline Diffuser (40PSI JBL regulator)

Mist would be great. Had an Atomic diffuser as well but doesnt seems to be working, guess it needs higer pressure.

most regulator at 25psi, cannot use this.

most cases, inline or reactor better since using canister.

On a side note, Nayang is using CO2 blower. I am curious if it is useful?

hi felix, saw your blog, how did you managed to get the lush glosso carpet in your tank?
How did you plant them? I am planting glosso now in 3-4 leaves and sticking the roots deep in, is that the way?

Cannot find a picture online. the next time i go nayang, i will take a photo of the co2 blower in action. Basically, it is something that is connected to a strong outflow and CO2. Using the strong water current, it will force the co2 into the tank. It might not achieve efficiency but the plants in the tank are doing well.
