To be honest, I can't say much about the scaping, but the plants look pretty healthy and the riccia is really lush.

Any algae from the direct sunlight?

Wow! All natural!! .. and save electricity as well....

I actually like the May03 tank better. you should have taken advantage of the strong growth and shape the riccia for an undulating landscape with some strategyically placed rocks(maybe 3-5pcs). I think that would look great! (You never know till you try )

I think what the tank needs now is some groupings and structured open space, seems the plants are all over the place now. some trimming back on the indica and red tiger lily might help... they are getting too tall and big

    In reply to vinz:

So far, only algae is BBA, (fingers crossed) which have been contained by weekly removal by hand.

Learnt from this forum that Yamatos might be able to remove it completely, but a bit hesitant becos I'm worried they can't take the temp in the tank. It averages about 30C-31C but sometimes do hit 32C with no harm to the fishes, but I dunno about the yamatos. TThe few yamatos that I've tried previously have never been seen alive.. so i assume they died soon after introduction.

    Yah Fei Miao,
I agree the plants looked a bit out of control.. I'm quite lazy in maintaining the tank, usually keep it to about 30mins a week for trimmings and removing BBA. Lately I've trimmed the red tiger lily to about half the height in the photo, doesn't dominate the front portion so much now. I've dragged the whole bunch of indica to the side and back as well.. so the wood in the middle is more prominent and my corys have more space to frolic and dig for worms.
