I can quite confidently say that I have no idea - and ditto for everyone else. If you could provide more information about tank, then that might make us a little bit smarter....
I have been experiencing small fishes such as cardinal, black tetra, glowlight dying at night. Every thing look ok during the day time but they seem to behave strangely at night such as dashing around.
The body of glowlight turn white (like 'burn' patches) instead of transparent after few days in the tank.
The rummynose in the same tank is ok and living happily.
Any idea what causes the problem?
Thanks

Can you post a pic of your tank? Might help us to answer your question.

i encounter ur problem before with my tetras' body turning white in just a single patch on its body. then after a few hours it'll just die. i believe its a type of disease contracted by tetras. try putting in salt and making sure ur water quality is good will prevent such happenings.

could it be ick? There is an article on ick in todays ST, classified section.
I don't think is Ick as it will not kill fish all the sudden. Regarding the tank parameter, Nitrate and Ammonia is ok. PH is 7.0.
20%-30% Water changes once everyweek. temperature around 29 degree.
I keep losting 1 or 2 fishes every few days.
