Eheim 2217 can't start

Hi all, I have had this eheim 2217 for around 3 years already and it has been working fine. I unplugged it and cleaned it prior to setting up a new tank and left it to dry.

When I was done manually priming (I just plugged a siphon to the outlet of the filter and pump until the filter is full) the filter, I started it up and it was fine. But when I turned it off to replace the siphon with the rainbar, it couldn't start and hasn't started since

I opened up the filter and ensured the impeller and rubber cap were fine but still can't get it to start. Should I get it repaired at Qian Hu or are there any other places to service my filter?

Personally, I would bring it down to Qian Yu to have if assessed. What ever parts you may need, your best chance is there.

However you may need to access the repair cost as oppose to getting a new one.
