    Hi bros,

I have a young boy, about 32 days old now , he is about 1' or slightly more long.

Currently I am trying to give him tubi buffet on a daily basis so he can grow faster but he usually eats until his belly is so big. Is it ok? Because I see other professionals are doing it so I wanted to give it a try.

Here is a video his huge stomach, pardon my lousy quality.

    Any advice is appreciated.

    Thank you

Cut back on the amount of tubifex worms to be fed. Overfed betta are prone to obesity, which can be detrimental to their well-being in the long run. Instead, feed sparingly over several meals daily will help boost its growth.

Tubifex should be given sparingly. A varied diet will be better for your young Betta. Like what Shi Xuan has mentioned, Betta are prone to obesity, and once this takes root the fish will be grossly fat. At times this may lead to dropsy.
