    Well..I did see a lot of marine species. But freshwater species on a small island.......

    Keep us updated on your trip. Maybe you might find something.

    Cheers,

    Hi,
    Tempting as it may be, I'd like to share this with your friend;
    "Take only memories, leave only footprints"... ie. leave the eco intact as one found it. When curiousity drives you mad and you have to flip something over, return it to it's original position.

    That way, we get to enjoy what Nature has to offer and so will the next visitor. If we pillage what we see, it's as good as introducing predating alien species there... not much fun looking at a pool of LouHans, ya?

    I have been diving in Pulau Redang since 1991 and over the years the amount of damages to the surrounding reefs and forest which I have witnessed are very alarming !. Hope it is not another typical case of Pulau Sipadan. Understand all resorts operator in Pulau Sipadan are told to " get out " by end of this year ! bagus !

    I went to P. Redang just last month, to the newest and biggest resort. Sad to see that a small jetty is build and there are many boats parking in a small bay, all waters are black in color.

    Kinda of sad as there seems to be more dead corals now at the usual spots.

    A jetty meant that more people can set foot to the island and it correlated to the decline of the marine life there. I know because I am a diver too.
