    Hi fellow bros n sis,

Recently i bought a pair of apisto from Taiwan, but i cant seem to identify them.
Therefore would appreciate if any of the experienced hobbist here can help on this.

And another thing is that i suspect that my female is a sneaker male.
Can anyone confirm these from the pictures below?

    Thanks!

    Male

    Female (smaller in size)

This is a bitaeniata type, probably bitaeniata itself. You probably have a sneaker male there.

Looks like bitaeniata based on my rusty knowledge.
Fish keeping is not a good hobby unless you received support from your family to keep them.

You might be able to find a female locally. Try C328 or JZX. However, whether the female is compatible with the male is another question altogether. I have no idea which population your male belongs to. Based on the colors and the pattern, probably "Shushupe" but no way to be sure.

I doubt you can find any Ap. Bitaeniata from any LFS at the moment. I bought previously from Aquaone and it cost me $70. It's considered quite expensive with the female being very small.
He may still have 1 more pair. His pair is sold under the name Ap. Bitaeniata Red back.I got another pair from one of guys here and the female is of good size. Now in breeding mood and guarding the cave.

    hi bro Fujisasuke

Stones is at Sin Ming. But you have to pre-order. If he gets your order in time, the shipment will come this Thursday.

I doubt the fry will even survive. They are in a community tank with another Bitaeniata pair and some killies. I'm more interested to breed my Eliz pair. The pair can't seems to hit it off.

Yup bro,the female seems to be first time so doubt can see any offspring but the pair seems to be bonded now. Maybe some time later.
