    Disabling Sump during photo period.
Because i cannot bring my PH down to require levels i thinking to disable the sump during photo period.
Will there be any side effects?

The ph of my tank is high 7.5 kh of 2.
Using a 300l internal pamp for a internal co2 reactor.
My sump pamp is 1800L per hour rating
    3ft x 1.5 x 1.5 tank size.

1.Just raise the level up in the prefilter section.
    2. remove the bioball section, add a bag style filter and make a holder with lighting diffuser egg crate

That should radically help things with a sump.

    I'd keep it going 24/7

Thanks for the advise but i do not understand what u mean by
"bag style filter " and "make a holder with lighting diffuser egg crate ".

Isit trying to reduce the amount of air exchange?
Will covering the whole sump top helps in this case?
The bio balls is at the last side right at the bottom.
Right on top for both section are spong.
