    Hi:

I saw someone posted dosing of the micro/trace for Fe, is around 0.5ppm per week. Is the Fe ppm per week correct ? Base on the Juggler Excel , my 6x2x2 ~ 500L, need to dose 90ml to reach ~0.497ppm of LGM. Is it too much ?

    Please advise and thanks again.

    Cheers

I think there is somewhere error in your calculation. You are talking about Micro, which must come in small bottle. So how many times you can dose 90 ml ? LGM is supposed to dose very little.

According to my excel calculator, for 500L tank, 1.5ml/day (LGM) will give you 0.0638ppm/day (Fe EDTA). Per week will be 0.4463ppm.

Base on the Excel sheet, approx 34 drops (~1.7ml) daily will give you 0.5ppm Fe per week.

Recommended levels of Fe is about 0.2 to 0.5ppm as suggested by Tom Barr at http://www.barrreport.com/estimative...test-kits.html

    Thx all.

Geoffrey had pointed out the dmdd spreadsheet that I used was prior to 2-dec-2003, which took into consideration of the 13% Fe content. Subsequently , Juggler, Geoffrey, etc had updated with the latest version dated 2-dec-2003, to correct them.
