i never belived small mouth cannot eat big animals.
nice video, but freddy is fw or marine puffer?
Disable the main claw. Remove the tail so cannot escape using tail flip to jump away (the crayfish actually tried flipping after the tail got bitten off, too late). Then take off the eyes and head.
Some LFS will also tell us that certain fishes have small mouth and cannot swallow shrimps. Well, fishes don't need to swallow a shrimp to eat it. Can always eat part by part.

Its a fahaka puffer, freshwater puffer. One of the largest freshwater puffers I think, with the exception of the mbu puffer.
Wow....puffer's attacks were deadly....![]()
I've always wondered how these larger puffers digest the hard shells of crustaceans... and with their powerful bite, imagine if you do tank maintenance and they mistake your fingers for crab legs.![]()
That's why marine puffers are definitely not suitable for the reef tank... You mean there are people who try to keep freshwater puffers with shrimps?
Small is good.
Small is beautiful.

I used to keep a hairy puffer (tetraodon baileyi), not the largest puffer but very aggressive to anything. Definitely has to be kept alone. It used to bite the satay stick I used to spear food to feed it and drew blood once when it bit my finger.
Lobster dinner!

Hahaha! Then I'll switch to keeping puffers and plants since got free sources of fish and pesticides! Make sure you guys don't be stingy okay?
Wow..it looks Aggressive...
Seems like it got teeth to smash those shells....
The beak didnt look as strong as what it can do!![]()
I keep sulawesi shrimps, tetras, birds, exotic pets, herptiles and monster fishes.
Only the midget dwarf puffers are cute, and their relatives the marine boxfishes, family Ostraciidae. I saw several young boxfishes at Marine Life Hobbielist over at GC's old location. Really cute fellas.
Fish.. Simply Irresistable
Back to Killies... slowly.
