The seller is a Ebay "top-rated plus" US seller. The cost of a Green Element Evo 3w (110v-220v edition) is US$60. Shipping is US$45 for the 1st unit, and US$19.95 for each subsequent unit.

This suggests that our local prices are a little bit on the high side? Just highlighting for info. If anyone has found better overseas prices from reliable sellers, pls share

Yeah, buying those sets online can be up to S$40-$50 cheaper than from LFS, though the price gap narrows when shop discounts are factored in too.

i guess the choice will depend on whether one is willing to take the risk if the overseas imported set is faulty (or know how to repair it)... compared to having some product warranty/exchange policy locally.

if you count by the dollar, YES online cheaper. online many things are in fact

if you factor spoilt or defect upon opening, which one will be better? different sellers offer different support.
not just the price alone.

The LED may not spoil easily but the transformer may.

For electronics,I will only buy online if the price difference is at least 40% or more than $50 cheaper. My Green Element Evo and Beamswork HI Lumen was bought locally though. My UV steriliser was bought online plus their spare bulbs as its more than 50% cheaper online.
