As you all can see, I went through a few attempts before I perfected my aquarium to my liking. Any comments are welcome.

My co2 was added recently, I currently have a few black beard algae spots. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! not sure exactly how to get rid of it before it decides to grow and spread quickly. I stopped using excel after setting up the co2. Biggest mistake I've ever done. Is it okay to add excel @ 5ml per 10gallons without doing a major water change. I changed my water 3 days ago.

If you are looking to get rid of the BBA, it's more effective to use a pipette or syringe to directly inject Excel onto the spots of BBA, make sure you switch off the filter for a few minutes while doing the spot treatment to ensure that the Excel does its job, then switch the filter back on after that to resume circulation. The BBA should become white after a few days and eventually disappear.

Should I do 5 ml per 10 gallon?

i also have a major problem with my Milwaukee. The pressure is at 20. But the bubble count keeps dropping after 2 hours.

5ml per 10 gallon for Seachem Excel is just about the normal dosage, so its okay to use it... Excel is commonly combined with Co2 injection to get better growth in plants (with a side benefit of inhibiting algae, though it'll rarely eliminate much existing algae at normal dosage if just dosed in the water column).

If you find that the bubble count keeps dropping during operation and doesn't stay at a stable bps, then maybe increasing the working pressure can help counter the back pressure from the water.

I've been adding excel over the past week, the bba seems to be clearing up. Cant wait to completely get rid of it. It seems that adding that much Excel has also increase plant growth over the past few days. Thank you for the help.

red plant, if you want it to stay red, normally not easy to take care. You can try Crypt wendtii brown, Hygrophila sp. "Araguaia", hygrophila pinnatifida or red macro algae (Caloglossa cf. beccarii)

red plant normally require strong light to keep it red. Strong light harder to balance between plants nutrient requirement and availability, unbalance will invite algae.

Going to Change the bedding to HC! That would probably make the tank a little greener at the bottom. Tired to waiting for the Dwarf Sag. or maybe leave the Dwarf Sag in and just add the HC.
