They're common in many drains and ponds. If you're prepared to get your feet wet...
Small is beautiful.

oh i did not notice those feeders at c328 are mts. i thought they were some common pond snails...hmmm... shall go get a second look tomorrow if not i guess i got no choice but to go to the canal behind my block for some WC snails haha

i got the mts frm c328 thanks!!
can aready see them digging into my substrate![]()
MTS will overpopulate your tank if excessive food are available. Just something to be aware of. hehe

Yea! That's a future problem that I would face 2-3yrs later regardless excess food or not.hmmm maybe I should stock some assassin snails or try to solve it later with hungry dwarf puffers/loaches.

assassin snails now only curbing the population i have in my tanks from going "BOOMZ".. the younger ones, might take some time to get killed from the assassin snail.
oh yah, i had actually blow dry my ada substrate and let it sit for around 2 months and MTS survive!

oooooooo i guess i really do need to get some assassin snails now to keep it in check

Dont get too many assasin snails it will wipe out the MTS.

You don't need snails to kill snails. The MTS have a habit of crawling up the sides of the tank at night. Get your net ready and just scoop them off the sides of the tank.
Fish.. Simply Irresistable
Back to Killies... slowly.

i think my water might be too acidic to keep snails? all the mts that i add have all died without me adding anything to kill it (assasin snails/puffer)
even shrimps that i add to do some clean up died maybe water contain some poisonous minerals for inverts?

might want to check your parameters and do a 100% water change and cycle again. seems like there are some problems with the water as the mts are quite hardy snails
