    hi

is it possible/advisable to use a wave maker pump (typically used in marine setups) in a large planted tank to improve water circulation?

    pls advise.
    thanks

I find a powerhead (i use one with 1,000l/h turnover for my 250 litre tank) is good enough.

If you already have one wavemaker sitting idle, I think it will do no harm using it. Well, if you intend to buy one for the purpose of circulation, like Budak said, you might not need that.
