where to get dwarf puffer fish that eat snail.?

Hi guys, I saw in some articles that dwarf puffer fish do eat snail. I'm wonder where I can get them in lfs.

You can get them from places like Seaview, Polyart or Y618 etc... note that dwarf puffers might sometimes get abit aggressive towards other fishes and will usually snack on shrimps too.

Assassin Snails and Crayfish eat snails too.

assassin snail is a better choice than puffer, you will have a headache feeding puffer after they clear the snails for you....

Dwarf puffer look alot cuter though... when hunting snails they look like apache gunships circling around their targets.

They eat snails fast, In one day, all the snails gone. Wonder how to feed them now.

Breed snails in another separate small tank and then feed them regularly to your dwarf puffer... can also try meat based/carnivore pellet food to supplement their diet too (if the other fishes don't grab it first).

Dwarf puffers can be adapted to frozen bloodworms, live tubifex, brine shrimp and daphnia too. They cannot handle larger molluscs however, so you will need to feed them regularly with other foods. Easiest snail to raise for puffer food is the Physa snail or the common pond snail. Ramshorn are a good candidate too.
