I don't think amazon biotopes have rocks in them. Just wood and leaf litter
Besides, amazon biotopes have acidic waters and certain rocks may increased the pH instead
Hi all. Does anyone know what kind of rocks are suitable for an amazon biotope and which LFS has a good selection?

You could go to GC and get those greyish type of rock....if your tank is small, please don't get those really large tall types used in Rockscape tanks......wood that is root like is more important for an amazon biotope as what Mystikboy has pointed out. Here are some good examples of a amazon biotope tank looks like.

Thanks for the advice! Nice pictures too. Mmm I have a 55g tank. I've been to GC before but I found the prices to be rather steep...
On another note, would rummy noses and pencilfish do well with angelfish?

As long as they are small enough to fit the mouth, they will be angel fish food
