    Hello Adrian,
Nana "startdust" is not Nana "petit". The scientific name I have seen attached to this plant is just Anubias Nana- "Stardust", If you are a frequenter of Aquabid.com, Charley Sabatino (aka Lowcoaster) has it for auction often. I would give him an email at [email protected].

    Re: WTB-Anubas nanas (Stardust)

I have Anubias sp. 'Stardust' and it looks exactly like Anubias sp. 'Petite', except the veins are white. There are no other white variegation as far as I can tell. The foreground of this ADA 2003 entry is flanked by Anubias sp. 'Stardust'.

Adrian, you are from Singapore correct? If so, then ask any local shop that buys from Oriental Aquarium. It would be much more inexpensive since many of the United States' suppliers import from OA, which is located in Singapore.

On Friday I went to the local fish shop that I always order my plant to order the Echinodorus "Indian Red" and was told this plant is control and is not avaliable for local sale, even that it is avaliable from the source here.

For you guys should be much easier to get the plant then we do.

    regards

    Kho,

If the "Indian Red" is a controlled plant, it would mean Karin Leow of Far East Aquatic should have it for sale. Controlled does not mean we can't buy them; it only means we have to buy them from Tropica. Since Karin is a licensed agent, she should have this plant for sale.

    Hi there,

Just wondering if anyone managed to source for Anubias sp. 'petite' and Anubias sp. 'stardust' from LFS in Singapore ?

I'm aware that I could get some from the Internet stores but I still prefer to examine/select the plants before buying.

    Thanks

Oriental Aquarium's catalogue shows the 'Stardust' to be a rather small nana cultivar, although it doesn't look to me as small as the "Petite", which is really tiny compared to regular nanas. I remember reading somewhere in www.aquaticquotient.com that a few LFS have "petite" for sale, but haven't seen any myself.
