So it is safe to say that GEOPHAGUS has more of the "blunt" face. While SATANOPERCA has more "horse like" face.

i really need to do abit more homework. Luckily i hold back my temptations when going around recce. Really really hard to let it pass. As i think most would have that same kind of feeling also. Haha..

Do a little googling, the 2 genus look completely different

EEs are really fun to keep and are very beautiful too. JZX at the moment as Geophagus winemilleri at very affordable price. IMO this is the most beautiful species of geophagus, and it is not commonly available. You might want to grab them while they're still there
