Eden is designed for small tanks (less than 1 feet) with low bioload. It choke up really fast even though I use it as biofilter in my 2 feet tank.
From TS' s diagram, its not unworkable but TS have to be more hardworking...haha

Yes. I use them in my 37cm and 30cm shrimp tank. Which doesn't require strong currents.
