The fall of my 2012-13 scaping, and a start of a fresh one

Broke my tank last week due to a minor bump when I was cleaning it. This is the last of my 60cm which has deteriorated ever since I came back from Taiwan.

After my reservist, much more worse. I have all sorts of algae.

No pictures to share here as they look really bad, due to a imbalance issue.

This is what I am restarting now, it's still a bare patch. I am just doing it slower this time, enjoying the process, while I try to finalize the scape.

Your soil grain size seems quite big. May I know what soil are you using?

Hi magpie, it's easy aqua substrate. Believe it is a taiwan product, the grain size is actually the same as gex Shrimp substrate.

Bro put some oto or snail to Makan the algae

Yeah i have alot of assorted snails in the tank some yamato one otto quite a handful of sakuras in it. The tank is quite stable now. The image was 2 weeks back.

A week after the previous image. Some of my ranunculus wither and died off.
