    Could be a female Cherax 'Blue Moon' in my opinion.

    yea, claw is cherax destructor... fat and short pincers. pick it up and show us close up pictures of the legs. and body

    From the size of the claws you can tell. This is rather subjective but I think in this case it's quite a distinct difference. The second picture does look like a male. A more accurate way is through looking at the pores on the legs. You can google for pics to tell that way.
