New layout for my 3ft tank!

My new layout for my 3ft. Consisting of ferns, fake plants if you do spot them and some decorations.
Low tech: T5 light with Seachem Excel & Flourish.
First attempt on having plants in my tank.
Pictures are taken from the day I first set it up to what I have currently.
Pardon me for the small thumbnails and blurr pictures.

First time playing with the layout with the decorations I have from my previous tank.

Looks a far cry from what I expected. Decided to purchase some live plants to improve on it.
This is the where I have my very first experience dealing with live plants in my tank.

Time to add in the fishes! Too excited and bought too many fishes. Pretty overstocked!
Besides that, decided to add in some money plants to try out.

After long, got fed up because I was unable to hold the money plants in the gravel.
And on the other hand, the leaves were getting destroyed by my playful pleco.
Decided to revamp my whole tank.

This is what I have now! Just completed it yesterday.
If you are observant enough, you will notice that the cave and the rocks are at the same position from the very first set-up.

Regarding the use of fake plants, i have friends whose fake plants' colour actually faded, and also leeched chemicals which might have caused the deaths of his fishes. They do looking nice initially, however maybe you would want to have all real plants instead. growing them, and watching them grow, is indeed fascinating and fulfilling.
