I will recommend a specialised tank mover to assist you in doing everything from packing, to shifting to setting up the tank.
They have the experience as well as the proper equipment to do so.

If it is a small tank, take out all the fishes, remove as much water as possible while keeping the plants damp, and transfer them to your new home.

It all depends on the size of your tank and the fauna you have inside.

if you are keeping arowanas or expensive angels / discus, i will second qngwn's suggestion to get someone professional.

In some cases, they will administer anesthetics to calm the fish down for transportation.
I am balding but i am still young!
