nice got c02?
the fern and nana should survive.
the HG, i have mixed success growing in non CO2 tanks. if there is quite a bit of fauna, maybe it will?
That said.. fern and nana will be slow growing. if algae strikes, they will be overtaken.
I am balding but i am still young!

nice simple setup

no worries. I lay claim to the grand master algae grower!
most recently got one batch of BGA. Super nice. too bad no one want, if not put on buy sell.
Agree that algae is a necessary evil. just be aware to maintain the balance!
Ok ok.. no more Off topic!

I dont think the HG will grow without Co2 and your lights look a little bit dim.
But no harm trying.

Well 5th day and my hg is still surviving hopes everythings turn out wellcross my finger*

What's your routine care? Mind sharing?

Good luck with your hair grass!

Just to check , it is good to have a glass panel covering the top of the tank?
It will be good if it does not cover the whole top of the tank.
If you cover, there will be less water evaporation as the water will condense and fall back into the tank.
But if you cover, the condensation might diffuse the lights in other direction, and may serve to block out certain portion of the light like a frosted glass. Water temperature will also be higher as it lacks evaporation.
