Hi guys been reading up a lot online on how to set up tank. But when it comes to myself seems so hard. Hope you guys can give suggestion on which hardscape I should use.

I hope to highlight this very beautiful driftwood I have gotten. Here r the two positions I was thinking to lay it up. But the main issue was the substrate. I wanted to have sand substrate for the pymgy cories. I also wish to grow some plants at the background. It's hard to determine how to layout the sand/soil substrate combo...

If highly planted, u might wan to consider having a layer of ADA soil beneath the current substrate.

If lightly planted, I think the current setup suit work fine.

You can put ADA aquasoil in the back where you plan to plant rooted plants, and put sand in the front and sides for the corys, then use the rocks as a barrier to keep the sand and soil from mixing together.

Thanks guys. Think gonna put soil at the back like aquaria suggested and use rocks to block it from mixing
