i am referring to pipes, clay caves, rocks.
bleach i scared will be absorbed. i think clay stuffs like this in someways absorbs fluids no?
is HP safe to be absorbed?
more importantly, killing it does it clean it as well?
i tried to scrapped this, the clay is actually scrapped off as well leh hahaha
very difficult some more.
Hydrogen Peroxide would be good to use, it should kill most of the algae and will eventually convert to harmless oxygen under water over time, so relatively safe to use. Just make sure to rinse it well before storage or usage.
Though those kind of porous materials might still hide some algae strands or spores inside the fine pores, so not sure if it'll eradicate the algae completely, can try and see.![]()
I use to Boil it to kill all algae![]()
bos... i go to watson and ask,
do you have hydrogen peroxide?
the lady bring the more knowledgeable guy and both shook head with scared look, as if i was trying to make wmod.

Just boil it.
If scared contaminate the pot, boil alot of water and pour over it in the sink.
Then sun dry it.
For plastics and other materials that will melt with boiling water, use hydrogen peroxide. walk into watson (like a baussssss), then ask for hydrogen peroxide. if i am not wrong, its around the area where they stock bandages for wound dressing.
I am balding but i am still young!
I bought my H2O2 from Toa Payoh Guardian recently. I actually looked for it in a few branches and couldn't find it. I think only the bigger stores will have it.
Yeah, H2O2 is a common disinfectant for cleaning wounds, usually stocked with first aid kits... i got mine from Unity Pharmacy. You probably just have to shop around to find stores which have them in stock.
It'll be good to get the 500ml bottles (or larger), they work out much cheaper per volume than the smaller bottles. Do check the expiry dates, as sometimes there are bottles which are close to expiry still on sale.
you might have to tilt head to see..
500ml bottle.
from beside KFC outlet in to a payoh, enough to nuke everything lol
