Looks like a nice assortment of colors. Are you intending to work on the greens as well?

I really liked the male both color and finnage wise. Since i did not have a matching female, i crossed it with the closest female available. My aim is to get a few fries out of this spawn to be like the father and continue this line further.
19/10/13 : pair introduced
20/10/13 : pair released
21/10/13 : pair spawned
24/10/13 : fries are free swimming
25/10/13 : father removed

Currently keeping large predatory fish 🐟
And the top right fry looks wild looking.
Would be glad to take it off u
wild bettas,Shellies,herptiles,mudskippers,shrimps
You can get "wild-looking" plakat from among any PK spawns, since the parents will carry the genes. However, the fry that show the "wild" patterning may also produce colored fry.
Fish.. Simply Irresistable
Back to Killies... slowly.
@Shxi Xuan : No i will not be working on the turquoise (green hmpks). I have already spotted around 10+ purple hmpks and would continue with them
@rutilans: 1.5 months is too early to comment about the final colors. If you see both parents do not have red, the female has marble, so I am expecting most of the fries to marble around 2 months plus..
Good work and please continue to update. Would be interesting to see how your project goes. You might want to have a few more lines just in case.
The greens are pretty too but what are you going to do with them since you are not planning to breed them?

Thanks for the appreciation shi.. I will most probably cull the ones with defects, rest I will give away.. keep only this color..
You might want to get a better filter for the tank, I can see a layer of bio film or some oily substance present in the images. Usually when I get this is when I happen to overfeed my fish on a protein-rich diet. The hues on your juveniles are nice.

I like fry no.2 out of the lot. Great finnage however.
