Woah... name it Houdini! I don't think people can survive that long like that...
Last week (25/07/04) while changing water, I must have accidentally sucked one of my cardinal out into the toilet drainage hole. Like most, I have a strainer (those u used to strain hair or any rubbish so as not to choked your drainage hole) and when changing water this week (01/08/04) guess what !???When I open the strainer, I found a cardinal, struggling n almost drain lying in a pool of water about 1cm high !!!
As I was only just starting to change water, that poor fella must have been struggling to stay alive in there for EIGHT whole days !!! Without a second thought, I took the fella and throw it in the main tank. It has plenty of white spots on it but still able to swim ! After water change, I put in ICK medincine n it is STILL ALIVE today n getting well !!! No food n only foul water ???, luckily we don't shower in that toilet only flush water occasionally to clean the floor. Is it super cardinal or what ? Now I am so paranoid n obsessively careful when changin water.

WAHSEH! This is a post 2 years ago! Think the cardinal would probably lived to its ripe old age and passed on... But it is one hardy fish...
How did i stumble upon this post? frigging twilight zone..![]()
This thread suffered the same fate as the cardinal. After posted, the thread went dead for almost 2 years. On one fateful day, it was discovered and revived.
It is indeed an amazing story of one resilient fish.
