    Guys,

Advice needed from Seniors here…Going to rebuild my home tank into a riparium.

    Below is the current photo.

A new Brace-less tank will be build and I will be using the same DWs, position will be similar.

Qns: Im thinking of a clear background with just the wall behind painted white. Will it be messy?
Will the water line shadow be cast on the background?
Will a black oyama background be better?
The top left corner will be the focus point most of the plants will be behind the DW stump with water lettuce roots flowing down along the DW stump.
I will wish to be able to see the roots will a black oyama affect that?

    Thanks in advance guys….

Personally, if you can set up a riparium using the current background that will be nice.
There will be dark spot or shadow below the planter cup.
You can check out this blog for ideas.

Thanks Bro. Had done a search and seen the blog before its really very informative.
Incorporating the 3D background is a great idea, will definitely explore it.
