Fertilizers Safe for CRS Shrimps

Hi anyone has any experience with low dosages of fertilizers like Borneo Wild Lush, Essence K, Vivid and proven that it doesn't affect CRS health and their breeding?

Hi cosworth, i have no experience with all those fertilizers that you have wrote, the only one i have used is Tetraplant Plantamin recommended by the uncle at C328, tried it in both tanks with CRS and Sakura shrimps, plants are growing fine, no casualties with shrimps and molting, will be trying seachem's one soon, as results i heard are 50/50.

its not easy to juggle between planted and expensive shrimps. if you are serious about keeping shrimps, i advise you to go for low maintenance moss like fissidens, java moss. They are typically easy and does not need additional fertilizer.

if you are serious about aquascaping, then its not advisable to keep expensive and sensitive shrimps.

You may try to have both by keeping low tech setup with hardy shrimps though( i am doing so)

In short, choose 1 ...expensive shrimp or plants...

its a planted tank or shrimp tank?

if planted you will need to dose, even if the crs survive. they may not thrive.

there are some who keep crs in planted tank.

It's a tank with 35 PRL's. Lots of moss and a couple of plants. CO2 at 1/4 bps. Dosing essence/vivid/lush at 1/50 of recommended dosage with no casualties though. But then again crs not breeding...
