Hi takaco, are you trying to re seal the tank? how big is your tank? If the tank is small, buying a new one is easier and not much difference in terms of costing.
I believe using vinegar helps.
Do update the results.![]()

To remove the access silicon, you can do it using a blade if it's a smooth surface, else you can use acetone to remove the extra silicon.
Are there any other way to seal the tank ? tape ?
i used silicone sealant too messy already![]()
I'm A Newbie Pls Don't Flame Me
Perhaps it's the best way to do it. Maybe using transparent silicon won't make it so bad.

Hey guy can i use A plus B concrete glue to replace the silicone sealant ?

Those are epoxy, and are hard type. It may be waterproof if kept rigid. But if bumped, as the glue is hard, a small movement or vibration might set off a leak as the glue and glass is dislodged

You can use acetone to remove the excess silicon.

You can't use concrete glue or any other glue for the tank,if you do that the water pressure from
the tank will leak it. If you are buying the silicone make sure you buy the one with no mildew preventive.
Dont get the bathroom and kitchen tube. Ask the shop assistant for help if you are not sure.
