Help - Where to place my Balansae?

Hi, had my 1m tank rescaped or rather should I say had all the algae infested plants and the base fertiliser removed and washed all the gravels recently. Now would really like to produce the look much like the tank on the right when you enter NA. Just 1 piece of wood with erect moss in the middle of the tank and java moss in the foreground.
Only problem is the Balansae that has been with me since I first started this year (sentimental la) . Is there a place for the balansae in this new layout? Where should I plant it?

Note: The hockey shaped wood is only there temporary. Moving this to another tank.

reefsin, i suggest u put fast growing plants or floating plants for this setup. Most likely, hair algae will start growing due to slow growth of your current plants.
Remove the fast growers once the tank has matured.

I felt that you should find out the reasons for your algae infested tank previously, if not touch wood the same thing will happen again and it will be very disheartening.

Thanks for all your posts. Okay I confess. I think 1 main reasons for the bba infection in the earlier tank was mainly because the water change was not often and frequent enough. In fact the balansae was "rescued" from near death by painlessly pulling out the bba strand by strand (that's why the sentiments). Anyway, the bba went away and all went well until I started to have some beautiful fast growing plants that required regular uprooting and trimming. This in turn causes the base fertiliser to leak to the surface and caused a whole lot of problems. That's is also the reason why I opted to have just moss as the main feature as I don't intend to introduce any base fertiliser. Well, the fairy tale ending for the balansae was that it's very happy in the temp 2 ft tank and started to mutiply as seen in the picture. There are a further 3 "bunch" waiting to go back into the main tank. Hence the question. Where do I plant them?

And yes Heuer, I intend to transfer the rest of the cabombas and the bacopas into the main tank to soak up the excess nutrients. Do you what's in the 2 ft is enough?

Seems OK to me but you need to monitor the NPK closely for new setup. Every tank is different.
