Lighting: 9 hours, 9am - 1pm, 3pm - 8pm daily.
CO2: NA 3litre CO2 with OceanFree Dual Gauge Regulator. 8am - 7pm daily
Water change: 30% Water changes every 4 days
Soil: ADA Amazonia Soil
Fertilizer: Seachem Flourish, Excel, Potassium, Phosphate, Nitrogen (Dose 1-2ml every water change.)
Test Kits: Never used any test kit since the day i started this tank, all lifestock surviving

It does look like Rotala wallichii. It "open" during day and "close" at nighttime.

how old is the tank setup? you should not add any fish/shrimp until your HC start to root, otherwise they might uproot it.

Actually i am giving up on my HC since they was dying after i tried to dry start since end of May, trying to carpet glosso instead but since the leftover HC still surviving i would leave it as it is.

This tank was about 3 weeks after i start flooding and day 3 since i change from beamswork 400 LED to green element evo 3w LED.

I like the Staurogyne Repens. Can i know where you purchase them and how much does it cost? What rocks are those? I do have berried malaya shrimps but didn't see any larvae. Probably sucked into my filter or eaten by my tetras

Hi bro kohanson,

I bought the plant and rock (Ouku rock) from East Ocean. I will PM you the price as i am unsure whether is it okay to post money here.

I am worried that my Ember Tetra or Corydoras habrosus(?) will eat the larvae too but after some observation i found that the larvae "withdraw" itself quite fast when "something" passby it. If there's berried mama malayan shrimp, you can find larvae at the side/ front wall of tank.

Any reason why you're pumping co2 while your lights are off?

There are some sunlight from window so i guess i just let it run as it is (partly to prevent any unwanted algae too).

Thanks bro for the info. Could not spot any larvae on the tank walls, probably eaten or they never hatch.

I only kept 2 Ember tetra (from 2years ago, my previous project), 1 Corydoras habrosus (my bro bought but forget about it so in my tank now) and 1 oto. I am worried that any of them will eat the larvae too.

Staurogyne is quite a nice plant and i always wanted to have it too. I bought mine from East Ocean and divide them to plant between my rocks.

Some update:
My plant is spreading well now, will update every week the growth of those plant and perhaps shrimplet.

It'll be interesting to see how many malayan shrimplets can survive. I see that you have one of the finer mesh cover for your filter intake, that's a good sign.
On a side note, those rocks look really white, like clunks of calcium.

I bought the inlet mesh guard to try to prevent larvae/ shrimplet being sucked in (hope so). Really hope to see the larvae can reach shrimplet stage as my parent always go and see/ count the shrimplet when they pass by my tank.

The light is too bright and i didn't play with the setting of my camera. For me i see the rocks is grey-ish with slight blue-ish and one of the rock is abit orange-ish. Should be two different type of rock but i just leave it as it is as there's not much difference between those two rock.

Hopefully, when you post a full tank shot after a couple of months the rocks will mature and have a slight greenish / aged look... I see one of the pieces in front has a it of greenish algae starting to grow...

All photo is taken without flash. Taking photo is a bit difficult as my tank is facing the corridor, has a lot of light reflected onto my front tank glass. I have to take some cloth to cover my whole living room window to take picture without the reflection of sunlight/ corridor light LOL.

As for shrimp, i currently has 30-40 over malayan shrimp and their size not small (~1inch +/-). I will wait till my plant fully carpet/ root enough then i will consider adding more shrimp. =)
