Planning to condition water and plant for 2 weeks before adding shrimps.
Any advice on improvement?
Thank you AQ and All for valuable knowledge.

Thanks Kiang.
Looks good! If there are some patches of mini fissiden on the main rock, it will look so much more natural!
I am balding but i am still young!
From the way you position the HOF and the rock, i would say its not too bad. the HC is not up rooting right?
The HC is grown with excel only?
How many wattage of what kind of lights did you use?

I would say.. Good Job!
Alot of people have issues with HC and excel!

Seems to be holding up well, I think Sakura are more hardy than CRS.
The HC are rooting, the only issue the current pump is a bit rattling,
-anyone can suggest a silent HOF for office use..? I don't mind paying more for excellent filtration and quietness.
I've been using Gex Slim for my 1ft in my room, no noise except for waterfall sound which can be eliminated by filling the water to the rim.
Beautiful tank you have too.
to grow algae, there are 2 methods.
1. induce algae growth by throwing water parameters balance off, then remove algae from regions you don't want.
2. induce algae growth by throwing water parameters balance off, then reduce or eliminate water flow to regions that you want algae to grow.
to grow specific algae, a method i use is to "seed" the algae i want after choosing one of the 2 options above. that way, the algae that you want will get a head start.
