Anyone has experience growing this plant? I think I bought the emersed form from sea view, added it to my tank that is undergoing DSM. It's pretty costly, don't wanna ruin it!

    picture coming right up!

I'm particularly concerned about the transition from emersed to immersed form because I'll be flooding the tank in a week's time..just planted them yesterday!

Mine had no issues transitioning from emerse to submerge. Overall I found it a pretty easy plant that grows very fast

I had no issues with the conversion. During the conversion, it's growth stunts.. Which makes it a good host for algae. Do take note.
I am balding but i am still young!

Does it require a lot of light and co2 to grow well? And I understand that I can just cut a section of the stem from the top and plant it in the soil?

Its a hygrophila so it should be OK in low tech tanks. Mine was kept in a high tech tank and it grew really fast

Assuming this is a new setup, I recommend you introduce more plants to avoid algae problems while the tank matures.

I'll be adding narrow java ferns and phillipine ferns, some marsilea too. And some frogbits to absorb e excess nitrates at the start

It grows compact and horizontally with high light but with low light it grow more vertically. So just adjust with your tank equipment conditions and plant it away with your set up!
