How to plant APP (Elatine triandra)?

I have just bought two pots of APP but don't know which is the best way to plant them. May I have your advice please.

cut them into plantlets with about 2-3 sections of leaves, just stick it into the sand with 1-2 sect exposed, right side up of course.

where did u get ur APP? i've been to many lfs but none seem to carry it. y618 used to carry them but was soon sold out. anyone knws where to get Pogostemon helferi - Downoi? and how much does it cost?
