What plant go with goldfish tank

I have a 3ft tank with goldfish with a 2215 filter.
I would like to start planting in the tank. What plant is suitable for goldfish?
I have not knowledge of planting in tank, what do I need for the setup?

no plant is safe with goldfish[] . Maybe java fern would be ok. H. Difformis is fine oso. Imptant with goldfish vs plants..... most foreground won't stand a chance with them.... esp if the goldfish is adult size.

I have java fern in my gold fish tank, those that are tied to driftwood. Java fern are very hard, but everyday I see them trying to eat it.
