joopsg,
You have to manually remove the Oto like what Marle did in his thread. The Oto is as good as dead if you don't see it moving anymore. However, be wary because the Oto might still be alive and if it thrashes around it might harm the adoketa's mouth parts. Adoketa will attempt to fit smaller fishes into the mouth, regardless of what it is, and this is where the danger happens. Many cichlids do this. I would suggest that you do not mix catfish together with cichlids, unless they are a lot bigger than that cichlid's mouth.

I managed to remove only part of the body. Oto was dead when i came back.. Really praying hard for him to survive..

You need a penknife or something sharp, maybe a scalpel and pair of good tweezers. Calm your adoketa down by covering it with a moist towel. You must do the "operation" swiftly to reduce the stress on the fish. It will struggle when you are trying to grab it.

Need to get a pair of tweezer... But must make sure he survived thru the nite first.. Anyone have a small tweezer that I could borrow or tell me where to get?

1) Hold the fish tight between 2 Wet towels *It will shake violently, your hand must be firm*
2) Squeeze the cheeks slightly to open the fish's mouth. (IMPORTANT STEP before u proceed to 3).)
3) Put the pincers/tweezers in and remove the remaining half of the body. (The body may be stuck from the top, you need to use the pincers to hold the dead body firmly, push it IN, DOWN, Then OUT.)

Sure looks like the head of the Otocinclus. Look out for any spines still lodged in the mouth of the adoketa.
