hair grass take a while to kick off
Hi all!
Been years since I posted anything here, last was with a 1.5,ft planted tank, but the focus was more on DIY 3W Cree LED lights back then. (That post should still be in here somewhere)
Was chatting with a friend about his low tech tank, and the interest got piqued again. Reused a super old 2ft tank, canister I had lying around, and some old anubias from a decommed guppy tank.
Bought new lights and soil, although I regretted buying Malaya AS.
Went through the algae phase, now seeing some hydra and planaria which I'll be dealing with soon.
Strangely, the hairgrass did not die or grow in the past month.. same with a red stem plant in the far back corner.
Trying dry ferts EI dosing for the first time too!
