Try change to the original hose, if the flow rate still slow, then your filter is faulty.
Hi Bro,
I have a Atman 3336 for about 6 months. I have changed the hose from the original (approximately 1.5m) to 2.5 meter about 2 months ago. Didn't notice the water flow changes then.
Lately, I noticed that the water flow is extremely slow.
Changed the filter sponge, washed the filter media. No effect.
Can the hose length cause the problem? Or is the motor dirty? If its lateral, how can I clean it?
Thanks.

Cheaper filter usually comes with plastic impeller and shaft, the slowing down of your flow could also be due to this factor.
Remove the impeller and check for cracks within the impeller...or if possible change to a new impeller.
Ensure that the impeller blades are intact and not broken off![]()

My Atman filter is just 6 months old...
Hi Jager and Hoonming, or anyone know how to remove the impeller from my atman? does anyone sells new impeller? what's the estimate price?

with eheims, one just unscrews the impeller cover from the filter housing and gently remove the impeller and shaft... spares are also readily available......not sure how the Atman setup is like, but if one can't change the impeller easily or spares are hard to get, it's not a surprise given the price of the product..... plastic impellers??? wow.... well, you get what you pay for....
Think it's best you ask the LFS where you bought the filter about impeller and parts change....

Does your filter come with the technical drawing?
For my Eheim 2213 there is a drawing in the manual that breaks down to individual parts includes the pump head.
BTW, how much did you pay for your Atman filter?
sigh....![]()
i agree with budak, you get what you pay... the thing is that the only information i got about cheaper filter is the chance of breaking down, and no info about serviceability.
got my atman around $65 (which i believe is far away from the price of eheim).
anyway, i checked with chan from NA. he says that all filter flow rate will drop. atman will drop in about 3 months from 1st use, whereas ehiem will be about 1 to 1.5 years. atman will also drop more than ehiem. thought to share some info gather from the expert... NA also have the full range of atman parts.
guess, i got to live with the slow flow for a while...
thanks guys.
