Vivarium setupe

Hi Bros,

Im very new in this forum. Started a planted tank with some second hand equipment setup from a bro here together with some new stuff.

After a few months of playing with the planted tank, Im thinking of switching to Vivarium, not too sure whether is there a place or a shop that i can see how they set up and getting the stuffs other than GC?

hi James, The best place is still the internet, try spend some time to google. It will be amaze on the wide information, picture available.

As for plant? depend on how you think of a vivarium. some like to use garden plant (no need enclose to grow) but grow them in an enclosure.
For me i will do a vivarium base on plant need (those that need high humidity). There always a grey area on this. So it will be nice to know what you want to achieve and work toward it. You can try out simple plant growing to see if that what you want.

maybe you can tell us what you wish to achieve? just plant in the enclosure? Or you want to add animals in? I m sure you will get more response from the expert hiding here to give you good feedback.

Thanks a lot for your advise. Basically now i intend to do a small setup maybe 2feet with some frogs and fishes. I have in mind a vertical landscape with a shallow pool of water. It will be a enclosed. Don't think it will be a master piece so soon… hahaha just pray won't destroy too many flora and fauna before i master it.
